Book Todaya in Ise-Shima Toba Onsen (Mie)—— Just 3-minute walk from the Toba Station, Todaya is a large ryokan facing the sea, with a total of 169 guest rooms. In addition to the gender-segregated large public baths (with open-air baths) which have 13 different types of bathtubs, there are also five charge-free rental baths outside the rooms for private use. The guest rooms, mainly consisting of washitsu (traditional Japanese-style rooms), command a spectacular view of the ocean. As to dinner, you can choose from buffet or kaiseki meals making use of Japanese spiny lobster, abalone and other ingredients.
Access: One hour 45 minutes by JR/Kintetsu Limited Express from Nagoya Station to Toba Station, then 3 minutes on foot
