Kaze no Tani no Iori

Book Kaze no Tani no Iori in Gamagori Mikawa Bay Onsen (Aichi)—— This ryokan was designed in the image of “a mountain retreat deep in the forest”, and only has 10 guest rooms in the form of detached houses. All rooms come with private open-air baths that make use of natural hot spring water from Gamagori Onsen, as well as balconies that face the forest. Both breakfast and dinner are served in your own room. Tempura cooked right before the guests’ eyes is also a distinctive characteristic.

Access: 25 minutes by Meitetsu μSKY Limited Express from Chubu International Airport (Centrair) to Meitetsu Kanayama Station, then 40 minutes by JR Tokaido Main Line to Gamagori Station and 25-min shuttle bus ride from there (Advance booking required)
