Michinokuan

Book Michinokuan in Kamasaki Miyagi Zao Onsen (Miyagi)―― A single-story ryokan perched on a hill overlooking the forests of Urazao. The ryokan features a total of nine guest rooms, including suites with hot springs and excellent views, as well as Japanese-modern rooms with hot springs. The gender-segregated large baths also provide views of the mountains. Meals feature kaiseki cuisine, carefully prepared with select ingredients.

Access: One hour 50 minutes by JR Tohoku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Shiroishi-Zao Station, then 20 minutes by shuttle bus (Advance booking required)
