We visited Hokkaido in mid-September, and it was a pleasant and comfortable journey.

 

The best season of Hokkaido’s autumn colours is coming.
Now is the golden chance to stay in popular hard-to-book ryokans!

We visited hot spring resorts around Sapporo from 17 to 19 September, 2018.
Ryokans operated as usual, and hot spring towns, roads and public transport were as fine as always.

In the hot spring towns and famous tourist destinations nearby, there were apparently fewer people than normal. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy our trip in a slow and relaxed manner.
We could easily take pure scenery photos at popular spots which are crowded with people under normal conditions.

We received many cancellation requests this year. It means that it is much easier to make reservations at renowned ryokans that are usually fully booked in the foliage season.

Please enjoy Hokkaido’s colourful autumn leaves, and hot springs and delicious food in popular ryokans at one time.
