Now, we are off to Ureshino hot spring!
Ureshino hot spring is one of the three greatest skin-beautifying hot springs in Japan and is popular among ladies. Here, you can enjoy both bathing in a hot spring bath as well as sightseeing as it is close to Fukuoka City.
The area nearby has an old rural landscape.
It is also famous as the major production area of Ureshino Tea (Japanese tea).
You can purchase them at locations such as a hot springs area or a roadside shop nearby.
Another famous treat is Onsen Yudofu, a tofu made with hot spring water!
This delicious tofu attracts you with its soft, melting texture in your mouth as it is made with Ureshino hot spring water that has a low alkalinity level! This photo shows tofu made with hot spring water at a breakfast buffet at Onsen Ryokan “Wataya Besso”, where we stayed.
