Big Mountain Yuzawa Snow Link is a group of ski resorts in Echigo-Yuzawa, about 80 minutes from Tokyo by Shinkansen. Shigakogen Tourist Association
This is one of the largest snow resorts in Japan, with 18 ski resorts of various sizes in an area ranging from 1330m to 2307m above sea level. With a common ski lift ticket, you can enjoy all of them as well as the Yokoteyama area, which is known as the highest ski resort in Japan. Many skiers here also visit the famous “Snow Monkey” in one trip.
Sidecountry skiing is available in Okushiga Kogen Ski Resort and Yakebitaiyama Ski Area.
