Book ABBA RESORTS IZU Zagyosoh in Ito Onsen (Shizuoka) —— This long-established, purely Japanese-style ryokan surrounded by virgin forests is 10 minutes driving distance from the Izu-Kogen Station, and is located at a quiet corner of the Ukiyama hot spring town. It is composed of the main building and villa-style guest rooms, and all rooms come with private onsens. The latter includes luxurious rooms with swimming pools and open-air baths. Hot spring facilities include gender-segregated open-air baths in a garden, large public baths, and two fine view rental baths outside the guest rooms for private use.

Access: Two hours 5 minutes by JR Limited Express from Tokyo Station to Izu-Kogen Station, then 5 minutes by shuttle bus (Advance booking required)
