Book Asebino in Shuzenji Onsen (Shizuoka) —— It is a ryokan where you can leisurely spend your time while looking at the forest and listening to the sound of a stream. All 18 rooms are equipped with private open-air baths. Gender-segregated open-air baths beside the river, and forest-facing rental baths outside the guest rooms for private use are also available. Japanese cuisine-centred kaiseki meals to be served in private dining rooms are attractive as well. This ryokan is a sister facility of the renowned Sagasawakan, a popular ryokan in Izu.
Access: Two hours 10 minutes by JR Limited Express from Tokyo Station to Shuzenji Station, then 30 minutes by bus to Yugashima and 5-min shuttle bus ride from there
