Bessou Kakei

Book Bessou Kakei in Tsunagi Onsen (Iwate)―― Offering a commanding view of Lake Gosho and Mount Iwate, it is a luxurious onsen ryokan which has only 6 guest rooms in its expansive, 23,000-square-metre grounds. All rooms are independent suite-style houses equipped with open-air scenic view onsen baths. You can find nothing other than pure nature within 500 metres from the ryokan, which literally makes it a fortress in the sky. The basic plan includes a one-night stay with breakfast, and dinner is available for an extra charge. Both breakfast and dinner are served in your own room.

Access: 45 minutes by bus from Iwate Hanamaki Airport to Morioka Station, then 40 minutes by shuttle bus (Advance booking required)
