Ishinoya Izu Nagaoka

Book Ishinoya Izu Nagaoka in Shuzenji Onsen (Shizuoka)—— An atmospheric ryokan with Sukiya-zukuri detached guest rooms spread out around a stone garden. All guest rooms have beds and hot spring baths, with first-floor guest rooms in particular featuring open-air or semi-open-air hot springs. Built on a slope, the ryokan has stairs as the only means of moving between floors. Traditional Japanese dishes are served for both breakfast and dinner in semi-private dining rooms.

Access: One hour 55 minutes by JR Limited Express from Tokyo Station to Izu-Nagaoka Station, then 10 minutes by shuttle bus (Advance booking required)
