Book Kaichoro in Ikaho Onsen (Gunma)—— It is an annex to the prestige ryokan Fukuichi. As a ryokan putting much emphasis on privacy, all 8 rooms have their own gardens and private open-air baths facing the mountains. Guests can also use the large public baths at the adjacent Fukuichi.

Access: Two hours 40 minutes by bus from Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal (Busta Shinjuku) to Ikaho Ishidangai, then 3 minutes by shuttle bus (or 10 minutes on foot)
