Book Naniwa Issui in Izumo-Tamatsukuri Lake Shinji Onsen (Shimane)—— As an onsen ryokan facing Lake Shinji, all guest rooms provide a fabulous view of the lake. Seven special guest rooms on the third floor called “Mizu to Kumo no Sho” come with private open-air onsens. A type of designer rooms called “MINAMO” on the first and second floors also include four open-air bath-equipped rooms. Traditional Japanese kaiseki meals making use of local ingredients earn an excellent reputation.

Access: 45 minutes by bus from Yonago Airport to JR Matsue Station, then 10 minutes by taxi
