Ryotei Takano

Book Ryotei Takano in Togura Kamiyamada Onsen (Nagano)—— Built in the traditional architectural style of sukiya-zukuri, it is a purely Japanese-style ryokan with eight guest rooms facing a Japanese garden. All rooms have hot spring water supply. Guest rooms on the first and the ground floors are equipped with indoor onsen baths and open-air baths respectively. Ryotei Takano also provides a gender-segregated public bath (with open-air baths) as well as rental hot springs outside the rooms for private use, so you can certainly enjoy onsen to the fullest. This ryokan offers authentic kaiseki meals as dinner, which you can eat in your own room.

Access: One hour 15 minutes by JR Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Ueda Station, then 15 minutes by Shinano Railway to Togura Station and 6-min shuttle bus ride from there
