Sakurayu Sanshuyu

Book Sakurayu Sanshuyu in Kaminoyama Akayu Onsen (Yamagata)―― The ryokan features seven spacious guest rooms, each with a living area, private open-air bath, and courtyard gardens. Meals are served in the room. Dinner features kaiseki cuisine, with a focus on brand-name beef such as Yamagata beef and Yonezawa beef, as well as seafood, depending on the plan. For breakfast, guests can choose between traditional Japanese dishes or Western cuisine.

Access: 35 minutes by bus from Yamagata Airport to Yamagata Station, then 30 minutes by JR Ou Main Line to Akayu Station and 5-min shuttle bus ride from there (Advance booking required)
