Book Spa Greenness in Aso-Kuju Senomoto Highland Onsen (Oita)—— This modern-style ryokan is situated in the Kuju mountain range, and is a 30-minute walk from the Yamanami Highway Observation Deck. All guests rooms have private open-air or semi-open-air hot spring baths and balconies. The ryokan’s location on a hill allows the guests to take in the scenery below and have an elegant time. Depending on the accommodation plan, either full-course Italian meals or Japanese kaiseki dishes, making use of local ingredients, are offered at dinner. For breakfast, Japanese-style food is served.

Access: Two hours 20 minutes by bus from Fukuoka Airport to Kurokawa Onsen Bus Station, then 10 minutes by taxi from there
