Teien no Yado Sekitei

Book Teien no Yado Sekitei in Miyajima Miyahama Onsen (Hiroshima)—— This onsen ryokan is situated on the opposite shore facing the island of Miyajima, and boasts a spectacular Japanese garden. All the 12 guest rooms are located in separate houses, and the layout is different from one room to another. Some of the rooms command a nice view of the sea, and some face the garden. Among the 12 rooms, “An-An” comes with a private open-air hot spring bath, while “Oimatsu” and “Kochu-An” each have their own indoor onsen baths. A public indoor cypress bath, a public open-air bath, and a fee-charging rental indoor hot spring bath outside the rooms for private use are also available. As to dining, you can enjoy delicious supper with a choice of three courses.

Access: One hour 25 minutes by JR Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka Station to Hiroshima Station, then 35 minutes by JR Sanyo Main Line to Onoura Station and 5-min shuttle bus ride from there
