Yamado

Book Yamado in Yugawa Hanamaki Onsen (Iwate)―― It is an onsen ryokan situated in a mountain village. All 12 guest rooms, including 8 rooms beside a mountain stream and 4 duplex-style rooms in the garden, are equipped with semi-open-air hot spring baths. A rental open-air bath located next to the stream is also available. Original dishes making use of fresh ingredients provided both by the ryokan’s own farm and by other local farmers are offered at semi-private dining rooms.

Access: 35 minutes by bus from Iwate Hanamaki Airport to Kitakami Station, then 45 minutes by JR Kitakami Line to Hottoyuda Station and 6-min taxi ride from there
