Book Yamamizuki Bettei Miyama Sansou in Kurokawa Onsen (Kumamoto)—— Located at a distance from the central hot spring town of Kurokawa Onsen, Miyama Sansou is built like an isolated village on the grounds of the historical Yamamizuki inn, enclosed by the nature. There are 16 guest rooms in eight detached buildings, and each room features a unique design and private onsen bath(s). Apart from the large public bath with open-air onsen, the hot spring at Yamamizuki, which is a sister facility of Miyama Sansou, is also available to guests here.
Access: Two hours 20 minutes by bus from Fukuoka Airport to Kurokawa Onsen Bus Station, then 5 minutes by shuttle bus (Advance booking required)
