Yudanaka-Shibu Onsen (Snow Monkey)
Yudanaka-Shibu Onsen is near Jigokudani Yaen-Koen aka “snow monkeys” which are Japanese macaques soaking in the hot spring in winter. This hot spring area has many distinctive ryokans, and has one of the largest numbers of common baths outside ryokans. A renowned Buddhist temple called Zenko-ji Temple is also not far away.
