Book Mt. Resort Unzen Kyushu Hotel in Unzen Onsen (Nagasaki)―― It is an adult-oriented resort hotel transformed from an old hotel established in 1917 and opened in May 2018. Instead of the large public bath, which was eliminated in the renovation, all 25 guest rooms are installed with private onsen baths. Guest rooms are divided into two types, the Accommodation Building and the detached rooms. The 21 rooms in the Accommodation Building have an area of 60 square metres or larger, face the Unzen Jigoku and command great views, and have semi-open-air baths and terraces. On the other hand, the four detached rooms have an area of 90 square metres or larger, and have both semi-open-air and open-air baths. Meals are mainly western food, which guests of the Accommodation Building have at a restaurant with a causal atmosphere. Detached room guests can enjoy upgraded food at an exclusive and private dining room. The top floor of the Accommodation Building has a lounge exclusive to the hotel’s guests which offer stunning views and free drinks.

Access: 50 minutes by bus from Nagasaki Airport to Isahaya Station, then one hour 20 minutes by bus to Unzen Oyama no Johokan (Mt. Unzen Visitor Center) and 3-min walk from there
