Hotel Wakamizu is nestled in the enchanting town of Takarazuka, home to a plethora of captivating sights.
The inn is conveniently located just a short distance from the station, making it a great spot to drop off your luggage and enjoy a leisurely stroll.

1. Takarazuka Grand Theater

(About a 10-minute walk from Takarazuka Station)

The Takarazuka Revue is a renowned theater troupe with a history of over 100 years, distinguished by its all-female cast.

The troupe primarily performs at the Takarazuka Grand Theater and their dedicated theater in Tokyo, in addition to various other locations throughout the year.

The path from Takarazuka Station to the Grand Theater is known as “Hanano-michi (Flower Road),” an area imbued with an elegant atmosphere, restaurants and more.

2. The Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum

(Approximately 3 minutes’ walk from Takarazuka Grand Theater)

Experience the world of Tezuka Anime at this memorial museum. Osamu Tezuka, the manga artist behind hits like “Astro Boy” (or “Mighty Atom” in Japan), “Black Jack”, and “Phoenix,” spent his years from age 5 to 24 here in Takarazuka.

3. Kiyoshikojin Seicho-ji Temple

(Approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum to the nearest station, Hankyu Kiyoshikojin Station, or just one stop/3 minutes’ journey from Hankyu Takarazuka Station)

Experience the venerable tradition of a temple with over 1100 years of history, cherished for its deities of fire and the kitchen, offering numerous attractions.

From Hankyu Kiyoshikojin Station, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Kiyoshikojin Seicho-ji Temple.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the traditional shopping streets and the atmosphere of the approach path, reminiscent of old-time festivals.

4. Nakayamadera Temple

(Just two stops/3 minutes from Hankyu Kiyoshikojin Station or three stops/5 minutes from Hankyu Takarazuka Station to the nearest station, Nakayama-kannon Station. The temple is about a 1-minute walk from Nakayama-kannon Station)

Nakayama Temple, believed to have been established by Prince Shotoku 1400 years ago, is renowned as a temple of safe childbirth. It has garnered devotion from the Imperial Family and warriors like Toyotomi Hideyoshi.

The temple is usually bustling with couples praying for a safe delivery, as well as families carrying their newborn babies in gratitude.

The adjoining Nakayama Kannon Park is home to approximately 1,000 plum trees, making it a renowned destination for plum blossom viewing.

The best time to see the plum blossoms is from early March.

5. The CUPNOODLES MUSEUM

(From Nakayama-kannon Station, it’s four stops/10 minutes to the nearby Hankyu Ikeda Station, or twelve stops/14 minutes from Hankyu Takarazuka Station)

An experiential museum located at the birthplace of world’s first instant ramen: “Chicken Ramen”

A facility where you can learn about the birth and history of instant ramen.
Experience the joy of creating your very own original Cup Noodles, among other unique activities.
