Konansou

Book Konansou in Mt. Fuji Lake Kawaguchi Onsen (Yamanashi)—— Situated 10-minute walk from the Kawaguchiko Station, Konansou is a ryokan on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi. Many souvenir shops and restaurants skirt around this ryokan. It has 51 guest rooms, of which some face the lake and some face Mount Fuji. Each type includes rooms that come with open-air scenic baths. It has a number of different hot spring facilities, like the gender-segregated large public baths, a rental open-air bath outside the guest rooms for private use, and a rooftop foot bath that commands great views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi.

Access: One hour 45 minutes by bus from Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal (Busta Shinjuku) to Kawaguchiko Station, then 5 minutes by shuttle bus from there (Shuttle service runs from 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm every day)
