Shima Tamura

Book Shima Tamura in Shima Onsen (Gunma)―― A historical Japanese therapeutic bathing resort. With seven forest hot springs and open-air hot spring baths by a waterfall. This ryokan has five hundred years of history and maintains an expansive 330,000 square meter forest. This is what makes the water from the ryokan pipes so rich in minerals and taste so good.

Access: Two hours by JR Limited Express from Ueno Station to Nakanojo Station, then 40 minutes by bus to Shima Onsen and 3-min walk from there
